Rory Bray

Rory is thrilled to be a part of the Rhythm Dance team! A graduate from the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts, Rory has been dancing and performing most of her life. Originally from Edmonton, Alberta she trained and competed in many forms of dance including Jazz, Tap, and contemporary/Modern styles; but it was classical Ballet that she really fell in love with. She completed her examinations in the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, which were awarded to her with distinction.

Rory has studied at prestigious programs such as The National Ballet School, The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, and with teachers from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Rory is also a yoga teacher and believes the healing practice of yoga fused with the technical demands and discipline of dance technique are the perfect compliments to each other, and loves to fuse her knowledge of her two passions.

Some of her favorite credits include A Christmas Carol The Musical, A Midsummer Nights Dream, and She Loves Me with The Rose Theatre, Tiki-Bikini-Beach-Paradise-Party-A-Go-Go at Next Stage, Serena Silvertail in Vital Theatre's Angelina Ballerina, as well as Gypsy and Carousel at the Mayfield Dinner Theatre.
