COVID-19 POLICIES

To ensure that our studio is safe for all dancers and in compliance with the Ontario COVID-19 Guidelines, we have implemented a list of new policies and procedures to protect our dance family as we reopen.

  • All students will need to sign a COVID-19 waiver before entering the studio, acknowledging that they understand the risks associated with being in a public space, as well as outlining their health and travel details.

    • This waiver can be found below and must be printed, filled out and handed in on the first day of classes.

  • All dancers will complete a screening process every day when they arrive.

    • They will have their temperature checked, and be signed in.

    • The sign-in/out sheet will help us to monitor who is in the building at all times, as well as allow us to notify everyone if a dancer or teacher were to contract COVID-19.

  • Only one parent/guardian per child is allowed to wait in the waiting room for a dancer 5 years and under while they are in class.

    • The parent/guardian must wear a mask at all times while in the facility.

    • We also ask that no parents, siblings, or guardians accompany dancers in the studio over age 5.

    • We will have staff at the entrance signing the dancers in and taking them to and from their classes.

    • We are currently drop-off ONLY!

  • Masks must be worn at all times in the studio.

    • Only dancers in Pre-dance and Mini Dance classes will NOT have to wear masks in the dance class.

    • All dancers in JK classes and up will be required to wear masks in the dance room in accordance with the TDSB school regulations,

  • There will be no access to change rooms, so dancers must come dressed and ready for class!

    • Shoes must be left at the front door, and all other belongings must go with the dancer into the room.

    • Social distancing rules will apply in the studio.

    • Our staff will diligently sanitize all dance rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and door handles frequently.

We thank you in advance for complying with these rules and helping us to keep our dance family safe as we open our doors. We hope to see you soon!
