Zoe Cacciotti

RECREATIONAL / PART-TIME COMPETITIVE TEACHER

Zoe Cacciotti was born to dance. She has an unrelenting passion for the performing arts and is committed to pursuing a career in professional dance. Zoe was born and raised in the studio as her family owns and operates the ‘Happiness Is Dancing’ dance studio in Sudbury, Ontario. As a result, she began dancing at the age of two and commenced competitive training at the age of five. Zoe has trained in a variety of dance styles including, but not limited to, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acro, Ballet, Pointe, Musical Theatre, and Tumbling. Throughout her competitive dance career, Zoe has won numerous regional titles, and was most recently crowned a National Title winner as Miss View 2022. Zoe credits the many teachers she has had the privilege of learning from throughout the years, including: Lori Cacciotti, Gillian Bar, Laura Boyle, Ashlee Michelutti, Anthony Morigerato, Shanna Cipressi, Rebecca Zizek, and others. All of these teachers have had a positive impact on Zoe, who is now extremely passionate about teaching the next generation of performers who share the same passion for the performing arts. Her experience includes four years of teaching competitive and recreational dancers aged 2-18 in all styles of dance. To better assist her knowledge in teaching, Zoe received the Module 1 and 2 Acrobatic Arts Certification. Zoe eagerly seeks opportunities to learn new skillsets to make her a better performer and continues to raise the bar by branching into acting and singing opportunities in order to separate herself from other industry professionals. She has had seven years of vocal training with Tabitha Walli, is currently enrolled in acting privates and group classes and over the past year she was part of the Amanda Cleghorn Creative Program to better prepare her for her professional career. Zoe is incredibly optimistic about what the future holds for her in the world of performing arts.
