Brooke Benaim

RECREATIONAL TEACHER

Brooke’s connection and love for dance was established at the early age of 4, and she has been immersed in the world of dance ever since. Like many young girls, Brooke began her dance journey with Ballet and slowly incorporated more genres into her realm. At the age of 9, Brooke began her competitive training in Jazz, Hip-Hop, Tap, Contemporary, and Lyrical.

Brooke’s love for dance extended beyond the studio walls. She attended Westmount Collegiate Institute as an Arts Dance student, furthering her education in styles such as Modern and Ballet. Alongside completing her formal education at Queen’s University, Brooke was the Dance Portfolio Head for the Vogue Charity Fashion Show, where she choreographed and independently organized a team of 45+ dancers. Brooke has worked as both an instructor and choreographer at previous dance studios and oversaw the Creative Arts and Dance program at an overnight camp for two consecutive summers.

Her journey as a dancer and dance instructor has been a captivating tale of self-discovery as Brooke aspires to pursue a career in teaching. Brooke is excited to be joining the RDS family and intends to foster an inclusive, inviting, and inspiring environment for the dancers.
